About Lawrence County

Corbin & Company Realty, LLC welcomes you to Lawrence County, Tn a friendly historical town located in the picturesque Southern Middle Tennessee laying on the Tn/Al line. Lawrenceburg, which is the county seat, is located on the intersection of U.S. Highway 43 (that runs north to I-65 and south through Northern Alabama) and U.S. Highway 64 (that runs east to Chattanooga and west to the Memphis). We are approximately 35 minute drive to the Tennessee River at Clifton, Tn and about 25 minutes to the Tennessee River in Northern Alabama. We are also well blessed with lots of creeks and rivers, from our own David Crockett State Park and our lush gently rolling fertile countryside. Lawrence County is considered a rural agricultural community with a lot of home town charm and enough industry and commercial activity to make it fun and excited in our urban areas.

Lawrence County is also home of the "Old Order Amish" with a population of approximately 4000 living and working among us. Their quaint simple lifestyle brings tourism to our town and a lot of tranquility. Handmade quilts, tack and harness, furniture of all kind, baskets, crafts and candies can be found in the Amish community located in the countryside of northern Lawrence County.

Our county is fortunate to have three top notch 18 hole golf courses. They include Dixie Oaks Golf club nestled into the lush hills and valleys overlooking the Buffalo river in Summertown, Clax Branch Golf Club located in Loretto, Tn and Lawrenceburg Golf and Country Club located across from David Crockett State Park.

Lawrence county has so many things to offer. From the golfer to the hunter and fisherman. Lawrence county is a great place to call home.
